The Manoa PTO sponsors the Holiday Fund every holiday season. The funds raised from this drive are used to purchase something for the school that benefits all of the grades. The item is usually nominated by the teachers and given in their name. Information about the item decided by the staff will be announced soon.
In the past, parents have elected to donate to the Holiday Fund instead of purchasing individual teacher gifts. The Manoa PTO is a non-profit organization under IRS Code section 501(c)(3) and is recognized as a Public Charity under section 509 (a)(2). Your donation may be tax deductible and/or eligible for your employer’s matching contribution program.
If you would like to be a part of this year’s Holiday Fund, you can click on the link on the right hand side marked “Holiday Fund Donation” and it will take you right to the Manoa PTO PayPal account. You may also submit a donation in an envelope marked PTO Holiday Fund – ATTN: Alexis Pasternak. Please include your child’s name and homeroom and that it is for the Holiday Fund. Checks can be made payable to Manoa PTO.
Please have all donations returned to the school by Friday, December 15. Dr. Ramoundos will be presented with the names of the families who donated, but not the amount each family donated. Those same names will also be displayed in the school office as well (unless indicated otherwise).
