Do you know someone (maybe it’s you!), that has the talent and time to lead our amazing PTO for the 2019/2020 school year? As per our PTO bylaws, all five Board positions are up for election.
· The President serves as the chief executive officer of the PTO and oversees all committees and functions of the PTO.
· The Vice President assists the PTO President in all matters and facilitates the monthly general meeting.
· The Treasurer tracks, organizes and reports on the income, expenditures and overall budget of the PTO and is responsible for deposit and distributions of the PTO finances.
· The Corresponding Secretary is responsible for all PTO correspondence, including FB, as well as being the Chair of the Recognition Committee which is charged with recognizing specific community members for various reasons.
· The Recording Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes from the meeting and distributes them to officers and the PTO membership at large.
The Nomination Period will run from April 1-10. Following that time all nominees will be contacted by a member of the Nominating Committee to confirm their interest and answer any questions. Elections will be held in early May.
